Inner Circle Benefits

Demos are NARM demonstration sessions led by experienced NARM trainers, including NARM Founder, Dr. Laurence Heller and other senior NARM professionals.

The demos are structured like a NARM therapy session. Individuals volunteer to serve as a client, while senior NARM practitioners lead NARM demonstration sessions in accordance with the intention set by the client.

The volunteers typically do not have experience with NARM and are chosen to simulate broader clientele that our community experiences in the field. Often, we include a series of sessions with the same client to show progression.

Demos are conducted live or are pre-recorded, all recordings are posted in the membership portal and are made available to all members.

Each month’s Demo corresponds to a Live Demo Debrief, hosted by the advanced NARM provider who led that month’s Demo Session.

In the Live Demo Debrief, the provider deconstructs that month’s Demo Video, explains how they are applying NARM in the clinical process of the session, pointing out the themes that emerge, and takes questions from those attending the event live.

These Demo Debriefs take place live and are also recorded and made available to all Inner Circle members after the live event has completed.

A monthly Live Topic Webinar is hosted by senior NARM Trainers, including NARM Founder Dr. Laurence Heller.

The webinars highlight and deconstruct a topic important to NARM. Webinars include didactic and experiential components which help participants engage with the topic.

Past Webinars have included topics such as NARM and Addiction, Differentiating NARM from Self-Regulation Models, NARM and Parenting, and many others.

These Webinars are also recorded and made available to Inner Circle members after the webinar is over.

The NARM Inner Circle is made up of a community of over 600 NARM professionals and enthusiasts from all over the world!

To connect with other community members and leaders in NARM, we offer the NARM Inner Circle Facebook Group, which is a private group only made available to Inner Circle members.

In this engaging group, members can interact with one another, reflect on Demo Videos/Debriefs and Topic Webinars, participate in professional discussions, share resources, and receive insights from advanced NARM practitioners.

Recordings, audio files, and transcripts for each Monthly Live Topic Webinar, each Monthly Demo Video, and each Monthly Live Demo Debrief are available to Inner Circle members for either 3 months for Monthly Members or 6 months for Annual Members.

He has been actively training practitioners in NARM since 2013 and serves as a NARM faculty member in Europe, where he also regularly assists Dr. Laurence Heller in Master Therapist trainings. Passionate about embodied approaches to healing, Ralf is dedicated to supporting practitioners in developing trauma-informed skills with presence, depth, and compassion.

She brings an integrative therapeutic approach rooted in existential and psychodynamic perspectives, with a strong foundation in the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM), having trained with Dr. Laurence Heller in his first European training cohort in 2012. Jeanett is deeply committed to creating a respectful, nonjudgmental, and authentic therapeutic space where clients feel supported in exploring the inner obstacles that may be preventing them from living the lives they long for. With a warm and grounded presence, she honors each person’s unique life journey and sees relational presence as central to healing from complex trauma. Jeanett maintains a private practice in central Copenhagen, where she welcomes individuals with compassion, curiosity, and a deep respect for the healing process.

Stephan Konrad Niederwieser

NARM Teacher

Stephan has been working as a psychotherapist for over three decades. His work is guided by a quiet fascination with how human beings become who they believe to be—and how they can, even after early adversity, return to their natural sense of trust, dignity, and authentic self-expression.

His therapeutic training began with Hakomi in the late 1980s, followed by extensive advanced training in trauma-oriented modalities, including Somatic Experiencing and, eventually, the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM), which today forms the core of his clinical work. As a member of the NARM faculty, he teaches and supervises therapists in many countries all over the world.

Together with NARM founder Dr. Laurence Heller, he has recently completed a book on chronic shame and guilt: Healing Shame and Guilt: The Developmental Roots of Chronic Shame and Guilt—and How the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM) Can Help You Heal and Reconnect, which will be published early in 2026.

Beyond his therapeutic work, Stephan loves to travel. His curiosity about people extends far beyond the therapy room and is reflected in his passion for exploring how human beings live and relate across cultures in both the West and the East. Two places he holds especially close to his heart are the Himalayan mountains and the vast icy landscapes of Greenland—connecting him to humility, resilience, and the quiet power of nature. He is married and lives with his partner in Berlin.

Member Experiences

Another great Inner Circle webinar today. The conversation around anger – containment, integration, and the connection to anxiety and depression was so useful. I found that asking the question “what is your relationship to anger” especially helpful with two long-term clients I saw after the webinar. Even though I ask this question relatively early in a person’s therapy, it opened up a deeper level of exploration even after months (years in one case) of meeting. Thank you for these rich topics…keep ’em coming.

I just took in this month’s demo debrief… I am deeply moved. I put it on to listen to while I did some tasks around my kitchen and had to stop and weep, to be with the depth of humanity and human unfolding process, our beauty and power and potential all that were discussed and demonstrated in this demo. My own heart is changed by witnessing. Deep gratitude.

If you missed the Inner Circle Webinar NARM and Running Away from the SelfI highly recommend you listen whenever you get a chance. I have been in the NARM community since 2019 and have completed all levels of training. Every time I listen to a webinar or watch a demo, my understanding and embodiment of the NARM model deepen. I think about many clients and often about myself. I can’t take clients where I have not been, so I intend to continue learning on the Inner Circle and everywhere I can.
